Patients can apply for health care assistance at the low-income NHS system. Under current EU law, EU citizens are entitled to mutual health care if they reside in one of the 28 EU Member States. New Zealand has mutual health agreements with Australia and the United Kingdom (United Kingdom). At any time, some services may be funded by public funds for those covered by the agreements.
